Time and Change Will Surely Show.......

On Saturday we went to the big Ohio State vs. Michigan football game. It was number one against number two, and the entire country seemed to be excited about the game. It has always been the big game for us. I came across a ticket to the 1991 Michigan game, and thought I would include it on this entry along with Saturday's ticket. The other picture features my mother and Richard's father. That game would have been early in the season as it was the marching band reunion day. How convenient that the poster is dated. We have been buckeye fans for a long time watching teams coached by Woody Hayes, Earle Bruce, John Cooper and Jim Tressel. Go Bucks.

Sorting Pictures Chapter II

Here are a couple pictures of M when she was about 4. I think Lily will be looking very similar in a couple years. Notice the fancy ring on M's finger. She always did like jewelry - and still does. The elephant watering can is still in our garage, waiting for the next generation to do some gardening.

Flashback Friday

July 6th was always an important date in our family. It was the birthday of my Aunt Alice. She always celebrated the event with a picnic in her backyard - inviting as many relatives as could possibly attend. This picture features from left to right: Marie Stewart Watson, George Gott, Alice Stewart Gott and a budding photographer named Elizabeth Willis Dillow. Those were always happy times on sunny summer days in Hudson.
