Last night we attended a Halloween Spook-tacular at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Akron. The Akron Chapter of American Guild of Organists presented a wonderful program. Highlights included selections from "The Seasonings" by P.D.Q. Bach. Nancy Ulrich, who was one of Marie's early voice teachers, performed the alto part. Hearing "In the Hall of the Mountain King" on the organ of a huge church was a treat. A gnome seated in the audience proceeded to the front of the church and played "Gnomus" from Pictures at an Exhibition. Marie sang twice. She performed "For Good" from Wicked and also sang a a duet, "All I Ask of You", from the Phantom of the Opera. This was a delightful way to celebrate Halloween.

Friday at TMS
Friday was costume day at TMS. The teachers have as much fun as the students. Despite the fact, there is a costume box available to me, I decided to go as an OSU fan. Jim Tressel also showed up in the form of math teacher Paul. Also shown is Debbie, who loves both Penn State and OSU. She wins no matter how the game turns out today.
