Lunch with The Donald

I went to Ashtabula County today for lunch with my childhood friend Donald. His family lived across the street from us in Jefferson. He resides near Las Vegas, but traveled to Ohio this summer to see old friends and relatives. I chose Bison Chili when we ate at Buck's Grill in Austinburg.

July 4th, 2008

It was a beautiful day for the 2008 Stow festivities. Marie and I started the day by doing the Firecracker Fun Run. We both had pretty good times. Emily B. C. ran it, also. Her father and brother did the big race. Then we went to our usual parade viewing area for tons of candy and a wonderful picnic - as well as good seats for the parade. B.J. and Zach brought their Transformer collections for comparison. The back yard of the T. family is amazing in its beauty.

Lily's Vacation

Lily recently spent a few days on vacation in Stow. The pictures show a few of her activities, beginning with unloading her tricycle from the van. We went to the local park as usual, but the most popular adventure was bouncing on the neighbor's new trampoline. Lily renamed it "The Jumper". We also attended the Ice Cream Social at church on Sunday evening. Lily received big hugs from her friends Molly, Mason and Mitchell. We hope she visits again soon.
