Guest Blogger! *D*

O.K. I am not going to do this on a regular basis (maybe), but I could not resist the current craze of iPod Mania. Not all of my music is in so I may be giving false information because of the REAL title being missed. Anyway, here goes:

How does the world see you? "The Shadow Of Your Smile" Count Basie
Well,
I am happy most of the time.

Will I have a happy life? "Lullaby" Dave Brubeck
Am I sleep-walking through it?

What do my friends really think of me? "Come Rain Or Come Shine" Scott Hamilton
HA! This is from the "Jazz At The 19th Hole" CD.

How can I make myself happy? "If I Had You" Sarah Vaughan
Isn't this supposed to be a family blog?

What should I do with my life? "Peg O' My Heart" Stan Kenton
Stan is one of my all time favorites. I am playing because of his music.

Will I ever have children? "The Snow Battle - from The Empire Strikes Back" Band of the Air Force Reserves
Yep, all my female ancestors, my wife and my daughters are continuing the "no male" rule. What a snow job.

What is some good advice for me? "New Blues" The Buddy Rich Big Band
Not for me...sorry about that. I like all my old woes.....

How will I be remembered? "Fugue For Rhythm Section" Stan Kenton
Are these things supposed to make sense or what?

What is my signature dancing song? "Besame Mucho" Nat King Cole
Since I have played in a backup band for his daughter Natalie, I will accept his advice.

What does everyone else think my current theme song is? "Sem Contenção" Bebel Gilberto
Without Containment, eh? Ask my spouse about that one....

What song will play at my funeral? "Crown Imperial" USAF Band of the Rockies
That will be a long funeral (but uplifting.....get it?)

What is my day going to be like? "Old Devil Moon" J. J. Johnson
I am always in trouble anyway.

Should I publish this meme? "Worship the King" Geron Davis
Hmm, this idea came from Katherine. She has insight into these things.

I only have 7039 songs entered into my iPod, the rest are waiting to be updated or entered. The lack of most classical/nonpop music has given the world a distorted view of what I am really like. Or, has it? My Rock and Roll tunes never showed up.

I bet most people reading this will not know all of the performers mentioned.

Woohoo! *D*'s first blog post! It's only a matter of time...

And I don't know if this was supposed to make sense, but it's fun!
