The Blue Lady was framed.

Latin ruled in the Willis household during the late 80's and through most of the 90's. Many Willis projects won awards over the years, helping to make the Stow High School Junior Classical League number one in the state for decades. This particular picture won a first prize in the state competition. I confess I let the artist stay home from school one day, because she needed to have one more entry and time was running short. I meant to get it framed several years ago, but it languished under beds and behind dressers. Congratulations, Katherine, on a job well done.

Wow! How cool.

It's Selene, Goddess of the Moon.

Matt always wanted to have that painting. He'll be thrilled it will finally be hung up! (I think it's a little creepy, sorry)

I always liked that picture. But now that I know its Selene, it reminds me of Celine (Dion) and I don't like it as much. It is a very nice picture, though, and the frame sets it off nicely. I think I'll listen to the Titanic soundtrack tonight.
