Ten on Tuesday

1. My week in Wyoming included a multitude of activities. I really enjoyed the bookstore in Laramie, staffed by this lovely young lady.
2. There is a park across the street from the new house. I met several neighborhood children - all boys. These boys quickly found out how fast the new neighbors can run.
3. Mile-High Fever: Silver Mines, Boom Towns and High Living on the Comstock Load by Dennis Drabelle is my current book. I sent the author an e-mail to tell him how much I am enjoying a new book featuring William Morris Stewart. He wrote me back.
4. Technology developed during the Comstock era such as braided cable and modular cubes led the way for building skyscrapers. I seem to have developed an interest in architecture since the Wyoming house building project.
5. We left home about 5:00AM to attend the OSU game on Saturday. The Buckeyes were back in charge. Since we have had the same seats for the last few years, we are getting to know the people who sit around us.
6. We had dinner with two of my college roommates and their spouses after the game.

7. I returned to Zumba yesterday. It felt good to be exercising again.
8. Popcorn Monday found us at RED. That stands for Retired Extremely Dangerous. We liked the movie because it starred so many old people.
9. A big storm is on the way, supposedly the biggest since the blizzard of 1977. (No snow - just wind and rain) We brought in the lawn furniture last night so it won't blow away.
10. This storm should bring down the rest of the leaves.
