Last night we saw Legally blonde at Kent State. We enjoyed it immensely, but it was very different from most musicals I have seen. It had good music, talented cast and an effective set. What it did not have was memorable tunes. It started me thinking how many musicals I have seen on stage in my lifetime. Here is the list in no particular order. I might have seen more, but this is what I could come up with this morning.
Into the Woods
Miss Saigon
Cabaret
Once Upon a Mattress
Paint Your Wagon
42nd Street
Anything Goes
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
